I’m not one for the posting of the process of making my art. They are sometimes truly fascinating to watch and, in the right hands, amazing even. It’s just not my thing. (I was never one for sharing drafts when I wrote either.)
In any case, I did do some drawing this week that I felt would be as close to “sharing my process” as I’d ever get. Essentially drawing out the layers of the drawing next to each other so it made its own piece of art itself.
(fun bit of Ernio trivia: I unequivocally do not like avocados, but I absolutely love guacamole. Go figure. Seriously go and share your work - I still don’t get it myself.)
I’m also not an artist who uses actual digital layers (this feels to me a bit like a unicorn in the digital world), so this process while a little easier in digital art, was kind of fun for me to dissect this way.
This was the one I drew first but was a little nervous about sharing, so did the more colorful one 🥑 shown above ☝🏽after. :)
